JLHP Spring Designer Showhouse

I am excited to announce that Margaret Fisher Interiors will be designing a room for the Junior League of High Point (JLHP) and Traditional Home Magazine   designer showhouse this Spring! The 2015 Showhouse, a circa-1912 Tudor Revival home, will feature both local and national designers and will celebrate the theme “From High Point to the World.” Each designer will draw inspiration from the history of the Terry property and the furniture-rich history of High Point. The home’s transformation will create a modern, livable space in a historic home. My vision for the powder room came...

Coastal Inspiration

With summer approaching and a client's beach house on the mind, I want to share some recent coastal inspiration. From furniture to lighting, accessories, and art work, HP market helped me create a great idea board.    Please contact Margaret Fisher Interiors if you are interested in purchasing any of these items.

Spring Market 2013

High Point hosted another successful Spring furniture market last month. Inspiration was everywhere! I want to start by introducing my favorite new vendor, Emporium Home. This beautifully eclectic and creative line is the brainchild of Ashley Childers. The product sells itself, but it certainly doesn't hurt that Ashley has an infectious personality and wonderful Arkansas accent. My photos only show a glimpse into the company so be sure to click the link to check out her website.                                                                                         I...

Made in the USA

I had the privilege of joining fellow designer, Holly Phillips, in Hickory a few weeks ago for HCC University. About ten times a year, the Hickory Chair Company invites designers and store owners from all over the country to tour their factory and learn more about the company and the furniture they make. Went spent two fun filled days there, and I left knowing that I could confidently stand behind any piece of Hickory Chair furniture that I sell.  The tour starts outside with stacks of NC grown lumber, then you wind your way through an immaculate factory with workers who cut, sand, chisel,...
