Flea Market Fridays

Time permitting, I like to browse some of Charlotte's "flea markets" on Fridays. Today I only made it to a few stops in the South End area. I did not see anything I just had to have, but there were certainly a few finds that could use a nice home. Rustic coat hooks great for a lake or mountain home... Sleepy Poet Horseshoe Hooks $28 Cute for or a kid's room... Post & Gray Set of Vintage Prints $75 Re-upholster (preferably not in aqua velvet with black welt) for the fireside, living room or den... I love acrylic because it can go modern or traditional....

Work Hard, Play Hard

After two full days at a "work" conference it seemed like a day of play was well deserved. I skipped yesterday's blog post since it was Leap Day and anything goes, but I still wanted to share with you what a great last day I had in Los Angeles. My personal tour guide took me to Urth Caffe on Melrose for the perfect breakfast and coffee.  Then we went to see Jane Scott Hodges for the Leotine Linens trunk show at Nathan Turner's shop.
