“Money is a Terrific Lubricant”

I hope that I have not offended anyone with today's blog title, but it was my favorite quote from the conference. The 2012 Design Bloggers Conference has been packed with knowledgable and inspirational speakers. I don't know that it would be possible or fair to choose a favorite (Bunny Williams) but I would like to give credit to Kimberly Seldon for the entertainment yesterday. Your insight on money, lubrication, and of course blogging strategy was much appreciated. This has been an amazing experience! Live from Los Angeles

Where to begin?! Holly and I landed at LAX yesterday morning and checked in to our hotel for a little sprucing. We then ventured out to West Hollywood for lunch at The Ivy. I am sure the paparazzi was thrilled to see us. Actually they were not there. I think there was something else going on in Hollywood that was keeping them busy. Just a hunch. After lunch we took a stroll down Robertson for some shopping before heading up the hill to Dawnridge. Lobsters, Lighthouses, and Luscious Blueberries

Today we travel to the north eastern coast of the United States.  A land known for its seafood, rocky shore, low rolling mountains, forests, wild blueberries, and lighthouses. I had the privilege of going to Bar Harbor, Maine last summer with my family. It was everything I had imagined and more. We went in July so the weather was perfect for hiking, eating lobster on the dock, picking blueberries, whale watching, canoeing, and even some swimming.
